Summary


Urban regeneration specialist MCD has gained detailed planning consent for a pounds 23 million mixed-use conversion of one of the many historic buildings in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.

Derwent House, a former foundry situated just off St Paul's Square and fronting Mary Ann Street, is a Grade II listed building originally owned by Taylor and Challen who, for more than 70 years, were manufacturers of presses and other machines serving the jewellery, metalwork and light engineering trades.
