This autumn seems to be the season for taking a new look at Arthur Miller. A couple of weeks ago at Malvern we had The Price (beautifully acted and impressively directed) while this week we have Miller's indictment of man's inhumanity to man during the appalling witchcraft trials in 17th century Massachusetts.
There are other Miller plays which have been staged at the Rep, of course, and on this particular showing it is still A View From The Bridge which stays in the mind rather than The Crucible, good as it is.See the full content of this document
