Keith Brace, much admired former literary editor of The Birmingham Post, died suddenly and peacefully last weekend at his Warwickshire home near Stratford-upon-Avon. He was 75.
'Keith was recognised by authors and publishers as one of the foremost literary editors in the country, yet, because of his modesty and gentle nature, others at the febrile end of the critical establishment knew little of his qualities,' recalled former Post editor Jack Reedy, who worked with Brace for nearly 20 years.See the full content of this document
