Amid all the transfer activity and speculation at The Hawthorns this summer, the arrival of Hungarian captain Zoltan Gera last month almost went unnoticed. Few West Bromwich Albion supporters had ever heard of Gera when manager Gary Megson paid pounds 1.5 million to Hungarian club Ferencvaros for his services.
