Glaxo Goes After Hearty Boost From New Drugs

GlaxoSmithKline has boosted its portfolio with a 453 million euros (pounds 297.5 million) deal for two treatments of acute heart disease.

The group yesterday struck a deal with Sanofi-Synthelabo to buy injectable drugs Fraxiparine and Arixtra, which have combined annual sales of 343 million euros (pounds 225.2 million).
