Ken Schofield, the departing executive director of the European Tour, says he is determined to bring a significant tournament back to The Belfry.

It's a big task in this day and age. Sponsors of golf events are not the easiest beasts to hunt and capture and the Government's ban on tobacco companies advertising at sport events still seems to rankle with the man who has steered the Tour through many difficulties for the past 30 years.
