Just a week after all the efforts of trying to win the 'FA Cup' of English amateur golf, Warwickshire will take on Staffordshire tomorrow knowing that two wins will give them both Midland League titles.
Last weekend's golf was as intense as any top amateur will play - its only equivalent being the Ryder Cup - but the County Finals title has now not returned to the Midlands for 16 years.
