Brewer and pubs owner Greene King yesterday posted a 25 per cent rise in annual profits after benefiting from the impact of a recent acquisition spree.
The group - the brewer of Old Speckled Hen ale - said the integration of historic Essex brewer Ridley's and the addition of Belhaven, which gave the company immediate scale in Scotland, had gone well.
