Dear Editor, Opposition councillors and their supporters will no doubt find something within the pages of the Commission for Social Care Inspections report to criticise and complain about, instead of the congratulations which are due (Social care staff are happy in their work, Post November 29).

Birmingham finds itself in an unprecedented position of being awarded a two-star rating for its adult services. This only goes to show the hard work which has been put in by those who work within this department, under the leadership of the Conservative-led partnership with the Liberal Democrats.
