Historic Planes Are to Go Under Cover

Summary


Work on a pounds 13 million extension to a Shropshire tourist attraction is to begin next week. It is hoped the development at the RAF Museum at Cosford will see visitor numbers rise by a third with the launch of new displays, including the country's first Cold War exhibition.

The museum has received the final element of funding for the extension from the European Regional Development Fund, which will also allow historic aircraft currently displayed outside to be placed under cover.
