Hospitals Get Cash to Bring On Ethnic Staff

Summary


A Birmingham hospital trust has been awarded pounds 132,000 to develop a scheme training ethnic minority staff for management positions. The project has been given the go-ahead at the University Hospital Birmingham NHS Trust, which runs the Queen Elizabeth and Selly Oak.

The trust will lead a black and minority ethnic management development programme which is being offered to staff working in the health service throughout Birmingham.
