Ranjan Madugalle must decide whether to request television footage to assist him in Friday's disciplinary hearing for Inzamam- ul-Haq, the Pakistan captain, into alleged ball-tampering.

Madugalle, the International Cricket Council's senior match referee, will oversee a hearing which could decide the future of Pakistan's tour of England. Inzamam is also charged with bringing the game into disrepute following Pakistan's failure to return to the field of play immediately after tea on the fourth day of the fourth and final Test match against England at The Oval on Sunday.
