Icelandic Cash Buys Wagon Plants

Summary


Birmingham professionals backed by Icelandic money have completed a pounds 24 million cross-border takeover of five plants previously owned by Midland car components group Wagon.

The factories, including one in Tyseley, Birmingham, have been bought by Sonas, an investment vehicle headed by David Cardwell, the former boss of Wagon's metal components group.
