Take it from us - design inspiration can strike anytime, even courtesy of a car journey on a cold autumnal evening. Take the other evening, for example. The moment could have been lifted from a James Bond movie, so exciting was the scene as we glanced down from our studio window and spotted a slick silver Audi pulling up outside, right on cue at 7pm, to swoosh us to the launch party of the largest Audi showroom in Europe. We were thrilled to be invited (not least because it was being hosted by Sir Alex Ferguson and pop crooner Lamar) but because we simply love a good night out.

Anyway, curtain twitching to take in the moment we noticed a young man step from the car and open the rear door. We signalled from the window to let him know we'd be down in a moment, grabbed our invites and dashed down the stairs. The night was crisp and cold and as we sucked in the sharpness of the air we watched Mother Nature's autumnal breath blow leaves around the street as the soft emissions from our driver's car hung in the air for the briefest of moments before being lost to the ether of late autumn.
