SPEEDWAY: In another dramatic finish at Monmore Green, Wolverhampton were taken to a last-heat decider by the Elite League's newest club, Reading, before clinching a 47-44 victory in unusual circumstances.

Wolves led by ten points with five heats to go and, although Reading pulled two back in heat 11, it was still a good result for the home side as Billy Hamill collected a popular win over fellow American Greg Hancock who was racing for double points.
