A couple thought to be among those who died in the Thai air disaster got married the day before the plane came down, a grieving father said yesterday.

Susan Howell, 26, and 41-year-old former soldier Steve Saunby from Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, were on the "trip of a lifetime" with another couple - Neil Slater, known as Harry, and his wife Helen - when they took the ill-fated flight from Bangkok to the tourist resort of Phuket. All four are believed to have died in the crash.
