Dear Editor, - I read with interest the article entitled 'An exhilarating interpretation' by Christopher Morley (Post, Feb 21), after the brilliant performance of Freddy Kempf on Saturday, who is undoubtedly a prolific artist.
I would like though to point out to Mr Morley that Freddy Kempf was actually playing on the Yamaha and not the 'Symphony Hall's unflinching Steinway' and I wonder if that accounts for the 'higher volume' than that stipulated by the composer?See the full content of this document
