He has proved his critics - and there were a fair few - wrong by playing the most consistent cricket of his career this season.

As a first-class bowler, he has retained his hostility but added greater control. He has also started to swing the ball back into the batsman, increasing his worth immeasurably. As a one-day bowler he remains inconsistent; as a batsman, he has benefited from tempering his aggression.
