The irony of LDV's healthy order book comes as the struggling company waits to find out whether Revenue and Customs has agreed to accept deferred payment over a pounds 600,000 National Insurance bill. The deadline for the payment is due to expire today following negotiations over the potentially disastrous tax bill, which could hasten the firm's collapse into administration.
