Government orders for mobile post office vans to replace closed post offices are among the pounds 5 million worth of business crisis- hit Birmingham van-maker LDV has in its pipeline.
The irony of LDV's healthy order book comes as the struggling company waits to find out whether Revenue and Customs has agreed to accept deferred payment over a pounds 600,000 National Insurance bill.
