Leeds United have reported Swiss club Neuchatel Xamax to Fifa after failing to receive international clearance for Joel Griffiths.

The Australian signed an 18-month contract last week after compensation had been agreed with Neuchatel and Griffiths, who is married to an English girl so he does not require a work permit, was expected to make his debut on Saturday.
