A Midland MEP is celebrating victory after the European Commission opted to scrap proposals for a 'tan ban' which could have consigned the bare-chested British builder to the history books.
Liz Lynne, Liberal Democrat MEP for the West Midlands, said she was delighted that following a screening of new legislative proposals, the EC had opted to scrap aspects of its controversial "optical radiation directive" dealing with the exposure of workers to sunlight.See the full content of this document
