Summary
A Birmingham woman who became ill with Legionnaires' disease after a visit to a Pontin's holiday camp has died.
The woman, who has not been named, had been staying at Pontin's in Blackpool in July. A spokesman for the Health Protection Agency confirmed that she died at Selly Oak Hospital, Birmingham, on August 29. An investigation launched by HPA officials concluded that staff at the holiday park took "all appropriate measures" to avoid the risk of infection.See the full content of this document
