Dear Editor, I went to the Symphony Hall on Sunday last. I was dreading it. I had bought my lovely lady the tickets for Christmas - to see Jack Jones on his tour of Britain. I've heard singers like Crosby, Sinatra and Bennett trying in their later years to perform - quavering voices, range all shot to pieces - and Jack Jones is 70 years old, for goodness sake. What could we expect?
