Summary
Dear Editor, As is often the case, I worked in my office until 7pm one evening last week. Driving home I joined a queue of traffic on the Pershore Road. I was informed by a policewoman that this was part of a "Drink and Drive Christmas Campaign" and had I had a drink that day? I stupidly told the truth, that I had consumed a glass of red wine at lunch time.
I was directed to enter a side street where several uniformed policemen were waiting. My particulars were recorded, including date of birth, whilst I sat in the car. I was then asked to leave the car for a breathalyser test, but the machine proved problematic initially.See the full content of this document
