Dear Editor, I commend you for the coverage on the JLR funding project and the extensive editorial that you have given it.
However with the latest debacle we read about the Government pumping even more money into the banks, it seems unbelievable that Mr Brown or Mr Mandelson have not come out immediately to give assistance to JLR. How could Mr Brown have possibly damaged this company so severely and now 70,000 jobs throughout the Midlands are at threat because he so severely condemned them. Then this Government contradict themselves by pushing through the third runway at Heathrow which itself will do far greater damage to the environment than all of the Range Rovers and high performance vehicles that will ever be produced. I did plead for the removal of Mr Brown and his Government some twelve months ago. Let us all hope and pray that some time this year will see the end of them before there is nothing left.See the full content of this document
