Dear Editor, - Given that he uses the bus I am surprised that Coun Gregory knows so little about the Tyburn Road bus lane (Post, Feb 15).
As I am writing this looking at the timetable for route 67 (city centre - Castle Vale) that runs along the Tyburn Road. The frequency of the service during the daytime (7.20am to 6.20pm) timetable shows every 8-9 minutes. By my reckoning that means there are at least 14 buses per hour (seven in each direction) using the Tyburn Road during the daytime period; rather more than the 'four buses per day' quoted by Coun Gregory.
