Dear Editor, It was interesting to read the recent comments in The Birmingham Post and Mail about the possibility of museums to celebrate the Spitfire and Tolkien.

I am unable to comment on the Spitfire museum but a group already exists in Birmingham that is working towards the creation of a centre celebrating the life and work of JRR Tolkien.
