Dear Editor, - Your letter from Douglas Batchelor, League Against Cruel Sports (LACS) (Post, May 31) confirms how inadequate and ineffectual he and his organisation are. To plead with the readers of The Post to write to the National Trust who are contemplating allowing hunting back on their land, asking them to oppose any such move, is sheer desperation.
Of course some National Trust members will disagree with hunting, but there are many more who will rejoin the Trust if hunting is once again allowed on Trust land.See the full content of this document
