Dear Editor, - Given the difficulties finding a suitable location for the Boulton, Watt and Murdoch statue, may I suggest two further possibilities?
The first location is in Victoria Square near Waterloo Street. The carving on the pediment high above the door of the Council House shows Britannia rewarding the merchants and industrialists of Birmingham and the other carvings on pediments around the building represent, science, commerce, industry and art. So Victoria Square would be a most appropriate location for the statue of these renowned inventors and industrialists.See the full content of this document
