Summary
Dear Editor, - I found Archbishop Nichols' defence of religion in Birmingham (Post, Thurs Dec 9) both interesting and invigorating - but also rather over-the-top.
He speaks of religious faith as like: 'Hammer and chisel which in the wrong hands they can be used to maim and destroy. Put to their right use they can fashion things of beauty, objects of lasting and universal inspiration.'See the full content of this document
