Dear Editor,-Norman Steven's letter (Post, Sep 8) suggesting that hunting people and their supporters should seriously think about stepping up their action in line with the way that the small number of anti-hunt thugs go about their business certainly makes sense.
It seems that the government have listened to people who have terrorised legitimate hunting people and their families, they have firebombed their cars, families have had to run from their homes, babes in arms fleeing from balaclava-wearing baseball bat wielding thugs. Hunt supporters have had chemicals sprayed in their eyes and been hospitalised. Yes, Mr Stevens you are right, if that's what it takes for Mr Blair to take notice of law abiding people that are being attacked by terrorists and vengeful government, then why not give it a go.
