Dear Editor, We have just driven to 'The Public' Arts Centre at West Bromwich to find that it was closed at 2.45pm on a Saturday.

We checked 'The Public' website before we set out, which informed us that the gallery was open from9am-11pmon a Saturday, how ever when we arrived at 2.45pm it was closing. According to the staff stacking chairs, it closes as soon as people have finished their lunch in the cafe. The gallery space is closed and has been for some time.
