Dear Editor - I am sure Peugeot workers at Ryton will not have been impressed by the comments in Parliament of a Labour Government minister, Margaret Hodge, and a Labour MP, Brian Donohoe, criticising them and their families for fighting to save their jobs.

They are battling to save their plant and are doing so by working with their local communities in some of the most creative ways the trade union movement has seen for some time.
