Dear Editor, - As an exiled Brummie who maintains a keen interest in the development of my home city, I have been astonished at the attitude of some of the city council leaders towards applying for the "super casino" licence either for Saltley or the NEC.
Although I must declare my interest as a Birmingham City season ticket holder, it seems to me that there are four irrefutable reasons why the scheme for a super casino adjoining a showcase City of Birmingham Stadium should be chosen: Regeneration.
