Dear Editor, This week the Government announced the names of the members of the Commission for Equality and Human Rights, which will take over from the CRE and other equalities bodies in October next year.
I was struck by the overwhelmingly London background of the people who -from next year - will be responsible not only for enforcing equal rights laws but also for helping set the Government's priorities and approach. I believe this matters.See the full content of this document
