A pounds 3.9 million series of roadworks on a two-mile stretch of the M6 between junction 10A (M54) and junction 11A (M6 Toll) has been completed four weeks ahead of schedule.

The Highways Agency said the resurfacing work had been carried out 24 hours a day, seven days a week to keep disruption to a minimum.
