Summary

Outdoor advertising group Maiden issued a profits warning after a poorer-thanexpected performance in billboard advertising.

The company, which sells space on billboards and posters by the roadside and at rail stations, said full year pre-tax profits, before exceptionals and goodwill, would come in at 'not less than pounds 7 million'. This figure, although pounds 1.7 million up on last year's figure, is some 18 per cent below analyst forecasts of around pounds 8.5 million.
