A pounds 58 million project aimed at boosting the manufacturing and design capabilities of automotive supply chain companies is the key to the survival and prosperity of the sector, according to the leader of the MG Rover Task Force.
Nick Paul, chairman of both regional development agency Advantage West Midlands (AWM) and the Task Force, was speaking during a visit to the Premium Automotive Research and Development (PARD) programme at the University of Warwick, part of the Warwick Manufacturing Group.
