A seriously ill two-year-old girl has been denied urgent surgery by a Birmingham hospital seven times in the past month.
Lily Cater has a rare heart defect - pulmonary atresia - which is a life-threatening condition linked to the under-development of the heart, which as a result has to work harder to pump blood around her body. However Lily, who also has a hole in her heart, is not expected to reach the age of five if she does not have the vital surgery.See the full content of this document
