New Mcdonald's Opening Times Could 'Fuel Disturbances'

McDonald's has won the right to open its Paradise Forum restaurant in Birmingham city centre until 3.30am at weekends, despite warnings the move would create a "honey pot" for disorder.

Members of the city licensing committee dismissed objections from Argent, the landlords of Paradise Forum, and said they were satisfied that CCTV and door supervisors proposed by McDonald's would deter drunks and vagrants.
