Summary

Two medieval church bells which were stolen in 1997 have finally been traced after finding their way into the hands of an unwitting scrap metal dealer.

The historic items, which were taken from their display cases in Edvin Loach Church, near Bromyard, Herefordshire, were spotted in an estate agent's window in Wiltshire by a passing campanologist.
