Mep Cashman Hails Taxi Firm Development ; Automotive

West Midlands MEP Michael Cashman met John Russell, chief executive of Manganese Bronze Holdings, parent company of 'black cab' taxi-maker LTI, to discuss the firm's continued investment in the Coventry plant and the ongoing work associated with its Chinese joint venture. Following the meeting Mr Cashman toured the factory, which included a visit to the press shop. There he saw a recently- installed automotive panel press bought for pounds 375,000.

"LTI Vehicles has become an increasingly important part of the area's economy by supporting jobs and giving a much-needed boost to the region's manufacturing industry," said Mr Cashman.
