Millennium Point, Birmingham's landmark centre for science, technology and learning, opened on time and within budget on 29 September 2001. It is England"s largest Millennium project outside London and, since opening, has welcomed more than 1 million people through its doors each year.
This flagship development, right in the heart of Digbeth and Birmingham's pounds 6bn Eastside regeneration zone, is home to Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum, the region's only IMAX cinema, Birmingham City University's Faculty of Technology, Engineering and the Environment (TEE) and a wide range of other educational centres and commercial tenants including Birmingham School of Acting, Birmingham Metropolitan and the City's destination marketing organisation, Marketing Birmingham.See the full content of this document
