My name is Siobhan Fitzgerald and I'm a typical 26 year-old girl. I love going out with my friends, clothes shopping, having one too many glasses of wine at the weekend, going to festivals, listening to music and generally just having a good time . . . oh yeah, and I have cancer.

Late last year I started to become very tired really quickly and blamed it on the fact I wasn't 21 any more.

At the same time my sister got a dog for her birthday, so when I started getting small blister-like spots on my legs he became the main culprit and I avoided him like the plague. When the spots refused to go and started to become insanely itchy I decided enough was enough and went to the doctors.
