Summary

Japanese carmaker, Honda, is aiming to cash in on the booming compact Multi Purpose Vehicle market with the addition of new diesel versions of its recently-introduced FR-V six-seat models. The 2.2- litre diesel engine will be added as an option from September, with both the SE and Sport models costing about pounds 1,500 more than either of their two-litre petrol counterparts.

Each will have a six-speed manual transmission plus remote central locking, side and curtain airbags, vehicle stability assist, climate-controlled air conditioning, one-motion fold flat rear seats and a stereo CD/RDS tuner.
