Cars from Mazda have always been refreshing alternatives from the mainstream hordes. The 626 and the lovely 323 certainly proved that in the past there was some very active life beyond the Ford Sierra and Escort.

One of the favourites was the 323 - especially in its vivid six- cylinder form. Its curvy design and frameless windows just shouted image, and the UK loved it.
