Summary


A music publishing group with the rights to Robbie Williams and Coldplay songs agreed to be taken over in a pounds 1 billion deal yesterday.

BMG Music Publishing, with a catalogue of more than a million songs including Christina Aguilera, Maroon5, Keane and Justin Timberlake, agreed to the sale as part of moves to clear pounds 3 billion of debts at owner Bertelsmann.
