National Grid Splits From Mast Arm

National Grid has signalled it will split from its masts business as part of plans to focus on electricity and gas markets in the UK and United States.

The wireless infrastructure division, which serves organisations such as the BBC and BSkyB, as well as mobile phone operators, will be demerged alongside plans to sell the company's Basslink interconnector in Australia.
