FIFA supremo Sepp Blatter has rejected suggestions that he is using Iraq's shock success at the Olympic football tournament for personal political gain.
Blatter, who has been at pains to stress the aid FIFA have given to Iraqi football authorities recently, has been conspicuous by his presence throughout Iraq's surprise run to tomorrow's bronze-medal match against Italy. But he has strongly denied politics is involved in FIFA's role in helping Iraq get back onto the football map.See the full content of this document
