Like every child, all the way through school, I had a dream - I wanted to be on the West End stage. At four years of age, I went to my first ballet class, and within a couple of years I was a budding star. I was interested in nothing else except singing, dancing and acting.

Mum and Dad took me all around the country, taking part in festivals and putting on shows with my dance school. All I cared about was whether I won or not. I was very competitive. But like most childhood dreams, mine didn't come true.
